WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in a human body including human cell membrane, cartilage, eye and skin.
It has a characteristic of taking water in a quantity greater than its own weight as it is hydrophilic. Hyaluronic acid helps the
regeneration of collagen, moisturizes the skin and performs the role of lubricant for skin tissues.
However, as people get old, the amount of Hyaluronic acid in the cell reduces and the skin will lose elasticity.

Characteristics of Hyaluronic Acid

1. HA contains disaccharide made of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl glucosamine linked
    together with beta-1,4 glycosidic bonds.
2. Each disaccharide repetition of HA contains three possible modification sites: Carboxyl, hydroxyl, and acetamido groups
3. The molecular weight of native HA is typically several million Da.
4. HA structure exists in all mammals.
5. HA is non-immunogenic and has viscoelastic properties.
